This recall extends to all tubes and packets of Triad Sterile Lubricating Jelly within their expiration date of 3 years and includes all lot numbers beginning with the digits 7,8,9, or 0. Triad began shipping the lots of this product subject to recall on January 2007.

As such, STL Medical Supply has immediately ceased shipping of TRIAD Lubricating Jelly until further notice. If you require a sterile lubricant, we recommend Reliamed Sterile Lubricant as an alternative option.
An additional TRIAD Recall
Also, please be informed that as of today, January 6th, 2011, TRIAD has also issued a recall on all of their alcohol swabsticks and prep-pads, marked both STERILE and NON-STERILE. This was a voluntary recall by TRIAD due to possible bacterial contamination. This recall also affects multiple private label brands you may be using. For more information about this recall, please see the FDA Press Release issued this morning.
